A Bit About Me

Throughout my professional journey, I've always been driven by a blend of technological innovation and scientific curiosity. My tenure in technology consulting and software development equipped me with a robust foundation in data engineering, analytics, and the principles of SCRUM and agile project management. While immersed in big data projects, I felt a pull towards molecular biology and the mysteries of human diseases with a genetic basis. This led me to further pursue my education in the field, allowing me to acquire hands-on wet lab skills and simultaneously leveraging my tech background to delve into bioinformatics and computational biology.

My current lab primarily focuses on virology and cancer research. I'm drawn to exploring functional therapeutics for diseases rooted in genetics in the future. There are several core values I hold close: honesty, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to intersectionality. I'm always striving to find that optimal balance between efficiency and effectiveness in every process I undertake.
